Salman Khan 'married' Asin

Salman Khan 'married' Asin: Salman Khan ‘married’ actress Asin earlier this week in a hush-hush ceremony in which her parents were not invited, according to the media down south.

As the evidence, a photograph of Salman dressed as a dulha and Asin as his new bride was splashed in the press reports. Quite obviously, a lot of people believed it and Asin was flooded with congratulatory calls and messages.

But the actress can’t stop laughing because it was a shoot for her film Ready with Salman Khan. In the scene, Asin marries Salman against her parent’s wishes. Apparently, someone thought she was getting married for real and published the story which was picked up by others in the media down south. In fact, the news of Asin’s marriage even reached her native place Kerala.

The ‘marriage’ has now become the source of constant jokes on the sets of Ready, with Salman teasing Asin and boasting to everyone that he’s finally married.

Great Ideas of Asin!

Great Ideas of Asin!: While some can rely on their friends and family for support, others count on their goodwill and professional equations in the industry.

Take Asin for example, the South superstar found it hard to get hear bearings in the industry despite Ghajini. Although Asin signed many lucrative endorsement deals, the same cannot be said about her movies.

So she’s gone back to doing films down South. She was given a Queen’s welcome by makers down South and this is when the lightbulb went off in her head.

She realised that many South blockbusters are being made into Bollywood Movies these days.

And Asin who has been a part of many of them is often the first choice for those films in Bollywood too. But other Bollywood Actresses often get the roles in the end.

So she is now busy convincing her contacts in the South to remake the films in Hindi with her.

Whether they will bite the bait or not, only time will tell but full marks to Asin for being enterprising.

Asin: I'm not on any Social Bookmarking Sites!

Asin: I'm not on any Social Bookmarking Sites: Those who have been tweeting Asin on Twitter or sending messages to her on other social networking sites like Facebook or Orkut, here is an eye-opener.

The Ghajini gal is not on any of these sites. Rather it’s the imposters who have taken on her name and post messages regularly to fool gullible browsers.

"I am not on Twitter. There are some fake profiles and people actually believe that it's me but that's not really me. I am not on Twitter or Orkut or any social networking site. May be in future but I am not on it right now,” Asin is quoted as saying by a news agency.

Perhaps it’s high time she joined the web world.

Katrina, Aishwarya, Asin and Priyanka: Bollywood Actresses common things?

Katrina Kaif

Katrina, Aishwarya, Asin and Priyanka: Bollywood Actresses common things?: Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra and Asin are 4 strikingly beautiful ladies of the B-town whose mesmerising charm and intoxicating sex appeal has got the male brigade staring at them with gaping eyes and open jaws. However, scintillating beauty is not the only thing common to these red hot gals.

Another professional commonality between them is that all 4 have worked with actor Salman Khan. Aishwarya Rai has a scandalous past associated with Salman following her film with him named ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.’

Katrina Kaif has done a few films with her Godfather and boyfriend (now perhaps ex boyfriend) Salman; the chief amongst them being ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ and ‘Partner’. Priyanka Chopra has rubbed shoulders with Salman in ‘London Dreams’ which, unfortunately, bombed at the box office failing to live upto expectations. Piggy Chops has carved out ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ and the hit ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ with Salman.

However, besides Salman, there is another commonality between the 4 damsels. And that is the Lux Factor.

Asin has been roped in by the Lux Soap which has already brewed bubbles with commercials starring

Aishwarya, Katrina and Priyanka. Now, the Asin-diehards can look forward to Asin invading their television sets with Lux foams in a bath tub.

It gives me immense pride to endorse the new natural variant Lux Sandal & Cream, as I truly believe in being beautiful the natural way," said Asin.

"The credit of rooting the right beauty mantra goes to my mom, who being a doctor, has always entrusted the beauty of my skin to sandalwood, due to its magical cleansing, toning and moisturising attributes," she added.

Asin now busy at the shoot of her new film with Salman

Asin now busy at the shoot of her new film Ready with Salman: After Asin’s controversial visit to Sri Lanka for the shoot of her Salman Khan starrer Ready, the actress is once again facing the camera for her Vijay starrer Kaaval Kadhal in a bungalow on ECR in Chennai.

Asin

Asin, during her Sri Lanka shoot stirred a hornet’s nest back home in Tamil Nadu when she became the first Kollywood star to visit former LTTE strongholds of northern and eastern Lanka for social and humanitarian work.

But what made Tamil film industry see red was when she took an army chopper in the company of Shiranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa, wife of the Sri Lankan president.

The actress was virtually crucified for no fault of her by the pro- Sri Lankan Tamil group, Nadigar Sangam and other film organizations. But better sense prevailed, due to the matured handling of the situation by Sarath Kumar and co.

Let us hope the matter has been sorted out and Asin can provide entertainment to lakhs of her fans worldwide. Meanwhile director Siddique is trying to complete the entire shoot of the film with this schedule.
