Ranbir Kapoor-Imran Khan-Ranveer Singh now in Akshay's favorite list: After completing two successful decades in the Hindi film industry, Akshay Kumar is now definitely into the senior bracket and is counted amongst the top stars of Bollywood, despite the recent setbacks. The actor picked his favourite new generation of actors who he feels come closest to him.

The first name that Akshay chooses does not spring a surprise. It is Ranbir Kapoor, who Akshay feels is doing a fine job. Ranbir is not just a future super star but with super hit films like AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI and RAJNEETI, he is already a force to reckon with and amongst the top five actors of Bollywood.

Then Akki picks up Imran Khan who has already made his presence felt in the industry with hits like JAANE TU...YA JAANE NA and the runaway success I HATE LUV STORYS and is certainly counted amongst the most promising future stars of Bollywood.

The third and last name does surprise and in fact we are sure that the newest entrant in Bollywood, Ranveer Singh, who made such a terrific debut via BAND BAAJA BAARAAT will be thrilled to bits when he comes to know that Akshay finds him very good and is amongst his choice of promising talents.

'Band Baaja Baaraat': Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh at GIP Mall Noida

'Band Baaja Baaraat': Anushka Sharma and Ranveer Singh at GIP Mall Noida : Band Baaja Baaraat (BBB) co-stars Anushka Sharma and debutant Ranveer Singh charmed with their youthful effervescence promoting their film at GIP mall, Noida. They were accompanied to the event by debutant director Manish Sharma. Anushka rocked ivory Diesel destroyed jeans, black halter top that she said she picked from flea market, Zara belt and Jessica Simpson nude pumps.

Despite her casual attire, the 22-year-old former model looked gorgeous with her lean body and flawless complexion. And if you young girls aren't envious of Anushka already, here is the clincher: she eats a lot - Manish and Ranveer confirmed to the media that she ate more than them during shoots - but her fabulous metabolism keeps her lean. Who said there is justice in this world! Ranveer looked hunky in purple tee and blue faded jeans. A local wedding band, attired in red uniforms, welcomed the stars on arrival belting out music from their film.

Anushka, the younger but senior star, introduced Ranveer to the gathered fans. The two regaled the crowd gathered at the sumptuous mall with light hearted banter and sang songs from their film, asking the fans to join in. They flung out a few Band Baaja Baaraat tees towards the crowds, letting grabbers be keepers. Their jokes and laughter brought alive the masti of the film, a romantic comedy. Manish, a Delhite, says his film is a quintessential Delhi tale, inspired by events in his own life. The lead characters, Bittu and Shruti, have rough edges, especially the abrasive colloquialism of their speech.

Anushka told Sawfnews.com she is lucky to have got very good scripts so far. After BBB, she will be seen in Patiala House, slotted for release on February 11, 2011. She is currently on the lookout for more good scripts. Ranveer's relaxed demeanor, ready smile, athletic built and hip young style of dressing had young girls drooling. Anushka watched Ranveer's back protectively. At one point, as he readied for a TV camera to roll for an interview, she hand combed his hair. PDA or bonhomie? Take your guess!
