In fact, Kareena maintained the diet even when she was in Vegas shooting with Imran Khan for Short Term Shaadi.

It is said Rohit Shetty, the man behind Golmaal series, is planning to remake the funniest Hindi films of all times Angoor with Shahrukh and Kareena in the lead roles.

The news has it that Rohit Shetty is roping in Shahrukh for the role played by Sanjeev Kumar and Kareena for the role played by Moushumi Chatterjee in the original. It is also said that Tusshar Kapoor would play Deven Varma’s role in this comedy film.

“After he made Golmaal 3, everyone was wondering what Rohit Shetty’s next plans were. People were guessing if he would make a fourth sequel but the director surprised everyone by choosing to work on an Angoor remake. That he decided to work with Shahrukh Khan on this came as a real shocker. It seems that Rohit is now wanting to work only with A-listers,” Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.

Well, it will be a treat to see Shahrukh and Kareena together again!

Cashing in on Geet, Imtiaz Ali has conceptualized a show for the channel Star Plus on his film Jab We Met which proved to be milestone in his career. Naturally, the TV serial’s USP is Kareena’s character Geet, and the role is bagged by the Splitsvilla 3 hottie Pavitra Punia, a model from Delhi, who became popular because of her glamorous look on small screen.

The serial is titled Love U Zindagi and will carry forward the lovely, chirpy character of Geet. Our suggestion to Pavitra is she better pull up her socks to fit in to the shoes of Kareena.

The movie is a romantic comedy but takes an emotional turn in the end.

My Love Story is the remake of the hit 2010 Malayalam film Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara. In fact, its Tamil remake Kaavalan with Vijay and Asin, which got released last Friday, is getting an overwhelming response from the audience as well as critics.

We hope that the Hindi remake with Salman and Kareena will also prove to be a great family entertainer like the original. 3 diets for looks: Kareena Kapoor attempting in Ra.One: Kareena Kapoor followed three different diet plans (drawn up by dietitian Rujuta Divekar) for her look in Chammak Challo, a Ra.One song she recently shot for.

Reveals Rujuta, "It was a jam-packed schedule. Kareena had left for Las Vegas on a 21-day shoot for Short Term Shaadi. On her return, she had to shoot for Ra.One's Chammak Challo, where she had to fit in to this sexy white dress.

To attain that perfect figure, we had a Mumbai diet charted out on her return to the city, one for her stay in Vegas another for her 24-hour flight from Mumbai to Las Vegas via London and then back again to Mumbai after the shoot ended. She lost five kilos for the Ra.One song but still ended up looking fit and fabulous."

The dietician, who is used to planning controlled diets for Kareena admits that the different diets were difficult to plan out especially the one in Vegas. "We had two diets in place one for 10 days and one for the nights. It was very tough to find the right food in Vegas as they were shooting outside.

At 4 am she would have milk shakes or milk - food that was light but enough to sustain the cold and feel enthusiastic about working."

A scene where Kareena had to eat several pancakes topped with maple syrup for a particular scene in STS during the Vegas shoot, had Rujuta worried.

"We managed to see that she ate on time. I wasn't travelling with her but was constantly in touch on the BlackBerry Messenger.

We had made diet plans when she boarded the flight. She told me the breaks she would be taking along the Mumbai-London-Las Vegas route.

There's a chef at the UK lounge, who is a huge fan of Kareena's and when she travels, she asks him to pack dabbas for her. It was quite a tough thing to plan but Kareena managed everything perfectly."

Rujuta adds, "On the Ra.One song shoot, I gave Kareena makhaana (lotus seeds) to eat as they are very nutritious and rich in minerals. She'd eat them roasted in ghee flavoured with pepper and salt. Even Shah Rukh liked it and would eat with her."

Saifeena's 'Agent Vinod': action sequels faces budgetary deficit?

Saifeena's 'Agent Vinod': action sequels faces budgetary deficit?: The news is rife that director of ‘Agent Vinod’ Sriram Raghavan has decided to incorporate three very expensive action sequences in the film but the shooting shall begin only in March, 2011 coz of budgetary deficits.

Director cites that he has decided to cut down on the 7 minute action sequence to mere 3 minutes but he has no intention on compromising with the quality. The next schedule of Agent Vinod is slated for 2011. The director has already shot about one hour of the footage.

Interestingly, actress Kareena Kapoor is also likely to go under training as she, too, is a major part of some action sequences.

Though, Kareena has been keeping mum about the subject, the report suggests that she has got two heavy-duty action sequences that she would be performing in Agent Vinod.

However, dearth of budget has pushed back her training date and apparently, the film is not yet well prepared. Besides, some of the action sequences shall be shot in UAE which would be economically feasible. Also, the director needs choppers flying in the night for which he is required to shoot in UAE as India hasn’t granted them the permission to use choppers at night.

Though, the audience would love to see Saif (who is the producer as well as the lead actor) flaunting his style a la James Bond, director admits that they don’t have that kind of budget. Looks like, the film is not shaping up as well as we would have liked it to!

Bebo calling from customs authorities: Actress Kareena Kapoor was summoned by the customs authorities on Tuesday after she left her baggage behind the airport when she returned from London. Since the baggage's take long to reach the conveyers belt, Kareena left the airport asking her staff to collect it on her behalf.

However, soon after she reached home she got a call from the airport superintendent Atul Sharma asking her to collect her baggage personally. The actress accompanied with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan had to return back to the airport to collect the baggage.

Actors like Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan never wait at the airport to college their baggage, while some of them wait for all the formalities to get over. So why was it that Kareena was summoned by the customs authorities?

The buzz was that Stand By Me is an adaptation of the Hollywood film What Happens in Vegas starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, but producer Karan Johar explains that that is not the case, "The movie is not an adaptation. It is an original story written by the writer of the film and Shakun is the director of the film with Imraan and Kareena in it. It is not an adaptation of What happens in Vegas.
