Aishwarya Rai not Attend the Hyderabad Endhiran Music Launch:
High fever forced Aishwarya Rai to skip the Hyderabad Music Launch of her upcoming film Robot directed by Shankar, the Telugu version of Endhiran headlining her and Rajnikant.
According to the Mumbai Mirror, Aishwarya woke up with high fever, as did many others in Mumbai over the past few days.
The 36-year-old Raavan star sent her apologies to co-star Rajanikant and Telugu superstar-turned -politician K. Chiranjeevi who was the chief guest at the event.
She recorded a message for her fans that was played at the music launch:
"I was so looking forward to being in Hyderabad. But due to high fever, the doctor insisted I stay home and rest."
Rajnikant profusely praised co-star Aishwarya Rai during the Endhiran music release in Malaysia on July 31.
"There is no other beauty in our generation like Aishwarya Rai and she is a born artist."
Aishwarya had earlier displayed humility and great respect for Rajnikant; on the the last day of filming on July 7 she touched his feet and sought his blessings.
Talking about the Rs 140 Crore budget film that was shot over two years, Rajnikant said, "When Shanker approached me with this movie, I was sceptical about acting as a Robot that too with a six-pack. Then acting with the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai was another thing and I asked the director not to make me a joker." (Via Hindu)
