Aamir Khan turns down in mild fever

Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan turns down in mild fever fever: Back from a trip to Australia, the actor landed at the Mumbai airport with very high fever and has had to undergo blood tests for it.

Days after we reported about Aishwarya Rai’s viral fever, Aamir Khan seems to have caught it as well. Aamir returned from his trip to Australia on Saturday afternoon, completely drained out.

Though on landing, Aamir was experiencing discomfort due to mild fever, later his health went from bad to worse. Now, the actor is completely bed-ridden with soaring temperature due to a viral flu and severe throat infection.

The actor’s health deteriorated to such an extent that he could not even attend the first cast and crew screening of his upcoming film Peepli Live, where his wife Kiran Rao played the host.

Aamir has undergone blood tests, the reports of which are awaited by today afternoon.

Our source said, “Aamir landed in Mumbai from Australia at 11 am. He had a mild fever and he had meetings scheduled that same afternoon.

However, by the time he reached home, his fever went up to 103 degrees and he had to cancel all his meetings. By evening, his throat infection was so bad that he could not even speak.

Aamir had to attend the first trial of his cast and crew on Sunday evening at a Juhu multiplex. On Sunday morning he thought about cancelling it but decided against it eventually because a lot of people were travelling from different parts of the country, to attend it. So, he asked his wife Kiran Rao to play host and attend the screening and the after party.”

Apparently, Aamir’s doctor has asked him to take as much rest as possible. After the reports of his blood tests arrive, Aamir has been prescribed some other tests as well.

Suspecting a bad case of malaria was the first inference, considering the disease is rampant right now in Mumbai. But thankfully, Aamir has not got the shivers.

When contacted, Aamir’s official spokesperson said, “Aamir is very unwell. He has fever since Saturday afternoon and it has not subsided. We are going to do all the tests again on Monday.”

We wish him a speedy recovery.
